Galbabhai Nanjibhai Patel Charitable Trust
Late Galbabhai Nanjibhai Patel was the son of Smt. Hemaben and Shri Nanjibhai Patel, born at Nalasar village, Vadgam Taluka of Banaskantha district, located in North Gujarat. He played an important and pioneering role in the foundation of the dairy sector, with its headquarters at Palanpur.
The Trust was established on 17 September 2016 by Banas Dairy and approved under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950, bearing Certificate No. E/1530.
An initial contribution of Rs. 1,51,000/- was made by the family of Shri Shankarbhai Chaudhary, followed by an additional donation of Rs. 11 lakhs.
